ECC International, through its learning arm APEX Global, took part in Training and Development Asia 2017, Philippines held on August 17 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City.
At least 150 Learning & Development professionals, HR managers, and executive mentors attended. They are part of an evolving profession that is turning them into strategic business partners and not just trainers.
Conference discussions this year focused on the abovementioned trend. Speakers and panelists shared their valuable, unique insights on current employee and training needs, the synergy between leadership development and business performance, and the influence of emerging technologies on the various kinds of learning formats that appeal to a new generation of millennial employees.
Training and Development Asia 2017 conferences also took place in Hong Kong (July 7), Malaysia (August 15-16), and Singapore (August 17-18).
